Shopify Migration Services

Products with their variants, images and descriptions, collections, customers and past orders can all be moved to Shopify, along with pages and blog posts. We map every field before we start, so nothing is left behind and nothing lands in the wrong place.

A few things can't be copied by any tool: customer passwords stay with the old platform, so customers receive an invitation to set a new one, and apps or custom features from the old store need a Shopify equivalent. We list these up front and plan each one, so there are no surprises on launch day.

Most of the risk in a migration is in search, not in the data. Shopify uses its own address structure, so every product, collection and page on the old store gets a redirect to its new address. We also carry over page titles, descriptions and image text, submit the new sitemap and watch search results in the weeks after launch.

We start with an audit of the current store: products, apps, integrations, custom code and traffic. Then we build the new Shopify store, move the data to it, and test everything on a password-protected copy: checkout, taxes, shipping rates, emails, discounts and every integration.

The switch itself is planned for a quiet time for your store. Orders placed during the final move are brought across, the domain is pointed to Shopify, and we stay on hand after launch to fix anything that needs attention.
